Jung-India studies evolved from research on C.G. Jung’s history with India, and the imprints of his journey to India in 1937-38. Jung’s inquiries about Indian culture and philosophy form the basis of a transdisciplinary initiative on psyche and culture, and their application in individual and collective lives.

“The psyche is not of today; its ancestry goes back many millions of years. Individual consciousness is only the flower and fruit of a season, sprung from the perennial rhizome beneath the earth.”
