Jungian Learning Circles are online study groups designed for developing knowledge and insights about analytical psychology. Sessions will include study of basic concepts, discussion of Carl Jung’s writings, as well as seminars devoted to dream analysis, folktales, myths, symbols, alchemy, religion and history of the unconscious. The key theme of all learning sessions will be the unconscious psyche.
Jungian Learning Circles are aimed at students, scholars, clinical practitioners, trainers, educators and writers who have interest in Carl Jung’s works and wish to learn more about his psychological ideas. Sessions will be supplemented by a variety of reading material. They will be held periodically and will make Jungian thought accessible to learners who have limited or no access to studying analytical psychology in India.

Carl Jung had a long history of association with India. Jung’s readings of Indian texts, links with Indian scholars, Indologists and Vedanta monks were extensive. Some of his key ideas on individuation resonates with principles of Yoga philosophy. Jung’s links with India form a crucial basis for studying analytical psychology in India.
Learning Circles consist of multiple sessions conducted periodically that can be attended on a continuous basis to gain understanding of analytical psychology. They are designed keeping in mind the applicability of analytical ideas to Indian context.
Yes. It is preferred that registration is done separately for individual sessions. Dates of upcoming sessions will be shared after we receive an expression of interest.
Learning Circles will provide theoretical inputs on analytical psychology. How does one experience these ideas in a practical way?
Experiencing analytical psychology is possible through coaching and therapy. Coaching offers direct insights about individual behavior, facilitating understanding about self and the world through the lens of analytical psychology.
Coaching appointments are formalized after an introductory meeting. The introductory session gives coach and client opportunity to know each other. Fees are discussed during introductory session. Duration of coaching session is an hour. Prior intimation is necessary if sessions are postponed, missed or cancelled.
Prospective participants of Learning Circle programs will be forwarded registration forms. Confirmation of registration will be done after participant has submitted completed forms and paid session fee. Duration of each Learning Circle session is 90 minutes. Details about fees will be shared during registration process. Learning Circle programs may be experienced on a long-term and continuous basis.
